In 1996, Jason McCreadie aka Jace Syntax teamed up with neighbor John Morrison aka BlackJack and began spinning some of the rawest acid house and techno tracks known to Glasgow. The two soon realized their real calling and ventured into the world of production. Pioneering the purest brands of Detroit and Chicago house music, the duo helped to establish a fundamental movement in Scotland paving the way for many top nights and future big name dj’s. The formidable partnership continues to revolutionize House music. In the last couple of years Jace has had a string of quality releases, such as his remix of the classic Unique 3 'The Theme' & Unique 3 'Take This Love' on Mutate, Tom Paris's 'Critical Expansion' on Dj Centre Paris, His own productions, 'Where Ever You Are' on Paul Macs Sulamuse label, 'Time To Go Back e.p' on Mark Ambroses Crayon imprint plus 'The Syntax e.p' about to drop on Soiree Detroit with label owner Derrick Thompson on remix duties & The future classic 'Jacking Around' coming soon to Mutate with some tasty remixes.
